What are the cleaning methods for tank trucks

Tank truck cleaning method

There are 4 methods for tank cleaning, namely dry cleaning, wet cleaning, steam cleaning and chemical cleaning.

1. Safety requirements and procedures of the Dry Cleaning Law

1. Eliminate the oil in the tank;

2. Ventilate the oil and gas in the tank and measure the oil and gas concentration to a safe range;

3. Personnel enter the tank to clean up oil, water and other sediments;

4. Dry clean with sawdust;

5. Remove sawdust and use copper tools to remove local rust;

6. Wipe thoroughly with a mop;

7. Dry cleaning quality inspection and acceptance.

2. Safety requirements and procedures for wet cleaning

1. Eliminate the oil in the tank;

2. Ventilate the oil and gas in the tank and measure the oil and gas concentration to a safe range;

3. Personnel enter the tank to clean up oil, water and other deposits

4. Use 290~490Kpa high-pressure water to flush the oil and floating rust in the tank;

5. Remove the flushing sewage as soon as possible, and wipe it with a mop;

6. Dehumidify with dry wind;

7. Use copper tools to remove local corrosion;

8. Wet cleaning quality inspection and acceptance.

3. Safety requirements and procedures of steam washing method

1. Eliminate the oil in the tank;

2. Ventilate the oil and gas in the tank and measure the oil and gas concentration to a safe range;

3. Personnel enter the tank to clean up oil, water and other sediments;

4. Use steam to clean, this method mainly cleans the sticky oil tank;

5. Use high-pressure water to flush oil stains, drain sewage, and dry clean with sawdust;

6. Remove sawdust and use copper tools to get out the local rust;

7. Use the mop to completely remove the stolen goods;

8. Check and accept the quality of tank washing

4. Safety requirements and procedures of chemical washing method

1. Eliminate the oil in the tank;

2. Ventilate the oil and gas in the tank and measure the oil and gas concentration to a safe range;

3. Personnel enter the tank to clean up oil, water and other sediments;

4. Use the tank washer to spray water to flush the system and equipment;

5. Pickling and rust removal for 90~120min;

6. Remove the acid, rinse with clean water for about 20 minutes, and make the rinse fluid neutral;

7. Drain the sewage, do 2 passivation treatments, the first time is about 3 minutes, and the second time is 8 minutes;

8. 5~10min after passivation, rinse with 290Kpa pressure water for 8~12min;

9. Drain the flushing water and wipe it with a mop;

10. Ventilated and dry;

11. Check and accept the quality of chemical tank washing.
