Under normal circumstances, the cleaning cycle of various oil tankers is: light oil and lubricating oil storage tanks are cleaned once a year, and heavy diesel storage tanks are cleaned once every two years.
The purpose of cleaning the tank body of the oil tanker:
1. In order to ensure the quality of oil products, regularly check the condition of the bottom of the oil tank and clean the oil storage container. The longer the oil is stored, the more deposits produced by oxidation, and the more serious the impact on the quality of the oil. Therefore, the bottom of the tank must be checked regularly to determine whether cleaning is required.
2. Macroscopically inspect the internal corrosion of the container (oil tank), and regularly clean the container (oil tank) to reduce the related extended service life.
3. In order to avoid the long-term accumulation of impurities, moisture, oil dirt and fibers, rust black oil stains, etc., when loading and unloading oil products in the storage and transportation of oil drums, oil tank cars, oil tanks, oil tankers, etc. loss.
There are two types of tank truck cleaning, one is regular cleaning and the other is non-regular cleaning. Regular cleaning is to ensure product quality, regularly inspect and maintain the internal facilities of the oil tank, and also create conditions for re-testing the oil tank and re-compiling the volume meter. Non-scheduled cleaning is for emergency repairs such as oil tank renewal, transformation or must be hot. Before this inspection, the interior of the tank must be cleaned. It is not very difficult to clean light oil and oil tanks with less precipitating residues (commonly known as sediments), or small-volume oil tanks, but for crude oil storage tanks with a lot of sediments and large volumes, waxy crude oil and its The composition of the mixture of hydrocarbon and non-hydrocarbon compounds is extremely complex. It contains not only liquid hydrocarbons at room temperature, but also components such as paraffin wax, microcrystalline wax and colloidal asphaltene that are solid at room temperature. Cleaning is very difficult.
The method of cleaning the tanker:
There are 4 methods for oil tank cleaning, namely dry cleaning, wet cleaning, steam cleaning and chemical cleaning.
1. Safety requirements and procedures for dry cleaning
1. Remove the oil in the tank;
2. Ventilate the oil and gas in the tank, and measure the oil and gas concentration to a safe range;
3. Personnel enter the tank to clean oil, water and other sediments;
4. Dry cleaning with sawdust;
5. Remove sawdust and use copper tools to remove local rust;
6. Wipe thoroughly with a mop;
7. Dry cleaning quality inspection and acceptance.
2. Safety requirements and procedures for wet cleaning
1. Remove the oil in the tank;
2. Ventilate the oil and gas in the tank, and measure the oil and gas concentration to a safe range;
3. Personnel enter the tank to clean oil, water and other sediments
4. Use 290~490Kpa high-pressure water to rinse the oil and rust in the tank;
5. Remove the flushing sewage as soon as possible and wipe it with a mop;
6. Dehumidification with dry wind;
7. Use copper tools to remove local rust;
8. Wet cleaning quality inspection and acceptance.
3. Safety requirements and procedures for steam washing
1. Remove the oil in the tank;
2. Ventilate the oil and gas in the tank, and measure the oil and gas concentration to a safe range;
3. Personnel enter the tank to clean oil, water and other sediments;
4. Clean with steam, this method mainly cleans the sticky oil tank;
5. Rinse oil stains with high-pressure water, drain the sewage, and dry clean with sawdust;
6. Remove sawdust and use copper tools to remove local rust;
7. Use the mop to completely remove the stolen goods;
8. Check and accept the quality of the washing tank
4. Safety requirements and procedures for chemical washing
1. Remove the oil in the tank;
2. Ventilate the oil and gas in the tank, and measure the oil and gas concentration to a safe range;
3. Personnel enter the tank to clean oil, water and other sediments;
4. Use the tank washer to spray water to flush the system and equipment;
5. Pickling and derusting 90~120min;
6. Remove the acid solution, rinse with water for about 20 minutes, and make the rinse solution neutral;
7. Remove the sewage and do passivation treatment twice, the first time is about 3 minutes, the second time is more than 8 minutes;
8. After 5~10min of passivation, rinse with 290Kpa pressure water for 8~12min;
9. Remove the rinse water and wipe it with a mop;
10. Ventilation and drying;
11. Check and accept the quality of chemical washing tanks.
